Emma and the Beast!

So! Hello again Monday!

We hope you all had a fantastic weekend! We certainly did!

This weekend saw the highly anticipated SANDs ball at Bertie’s Crystal Ballroom in Elland and we couldn’t be happier with how everything went, in spite of the arrival of the dreaded Beast from the East, followed by Storm Emma! There was a point that we were really concerned that the ball might not have taken place due to the snow and high winds (plus the M62 being closed!!) but it went ahead and the majority of guests were able to make it!

Ellie spent weeks hand making everything, from the table plan which featured mirrored table names and lots of sparkle, to the light-up centrepieces, the table name frames for each table and the place name holders, all incorporating different types of natural crystals. 

Ellie and I were both involved with the running of the evening also (I was performing at and hosting the evening and Ellie assisted with the organisation as well as being a paying guest). 

The room looked even more amazing once the main lights went out and everything went without a hitch! Table games were played, prizes were won, money was raised for this amazing charity (£1192 to be exact)!!

We had so many amazing comments on how the venue looked and what an amazing night was had by all! We are both so proud of the final result of months of planning and work!
